Well, welcome to my attempt at a photoblog. This first post is mostly a test for me to see how tumblr works. It was a picture taken at the Cascades in Giles County, VA. An insect, which to me seems to closely resembles a fishing lure, is resting on a wooden handrail with the 70-foot waterfall visible in the background. The hike was four miles roundtrip and the waterfall was certainly worth it. I hope to post more photos soon of the track and field season last spring and some shots from a trip last weekend to the area around Radford, VA I took with a friend to capture the fall foliage before the leaves lost their magnificent color.
